* Timely holding of DPCs for Time Bound Financial promotions as of now E1 - E2 and E2- E3 Pending at BSNL CO for implementations.
 
SO !!!! At last the CAT is out of the bag. The much hyped group A RR in its new Avatar as BSNL Management Services rules have been published. As we expected, there was nothing new in it. The same old wine of erstwhile Rules has been packed in new bottle except for a few modifications which may be suiting and soothing to a select group of individuals. Friends, these Rules have been a shocker for even the Executives absorbed from the DoT, who have given their full hearted support to their leaders. As far as our opinion goes, if these rules are not withdrawn and a new CPSU policy is not brought in where every executive has a right to reach at the present STS level in a time bound manner, then the major chunk of the executives will retire at most as SDE, what ever the management may say that these rules are aimed at benefiting each and every executive of the company. Friends, how can people believe a management who is disowning its own set of executives and their capabilities by saying that to run BSNL, they need people from outside in the form of MTs and DGMs. See the level of contrast in their justification : They want MTs in the name of young blood while DGMs recruitment is being justified as an initiative to bring much needed experience in BSNL and while doing so, the vast pool of young blood and experienced hands in BSNL has been ignored and both of them are being described by the management as useless because in their opinion existing executives with young blood as well as the experienced ones doesn't have the capability to run the company. And look at what they want to bring: at STS level, management wants BEs with MBAs from any tom,dick and harry institute with no experience at all of running any company while at the JAG level management wants DGMs with 12 years of any type of experience in any tom dick and harry company with a turnover of Rs 100 crores to run a telecom company of the size of BSNL. Friends, we should thank our stars, we are being driven by a management of such extraordinary calibre capable of doing and justifying anything and still BSNL has been able to survive profitably for  eight years, may be because of its so called incapable executives have been harnessing it with their sweat and blood.  By seeing such type of HR initiatives by the management , the first thought which goes into our mind is that perhaps the British rule has ended in India but that ANGREJI  BICHARDHARA is still existent where the prime task of the Britishers was to maintain and strengthen the gap between the HAVES and HAVE NOTs. Hats off to such management and hats off to the people supporting it and we can only hope and prey to god that "OH God, Please impart a sense of belongingness to BSNL in each and every one of us so that sooner or latter our mind changes". Friends we sincerely hope one day, better sense will prevail.
